Teaching Children Effectively I - Hybrid Format

Please join us for our hybrid Teaching Children Effectively 1. We are very excited to offer this flexible option for all of our volunteers. This is an excellent course for anyone who serves children the community or their local church. Register or learn more today.

Course begins with 2 days of instruction on August 14th and 15th and continues on Tuesdays from 6:00-9:00 in a hybrid format (3 online classes and 3 in-person classes) 

Online: Sept. 1st, 22nd, & Oct. 6th
In-person: Sept. 15th, 29th, & Oct. 20th (at 4054 Church St., Wade, NC)

The Christmas Party Club training at the Wade Community Building (White building beside the office & park) includes brunch.

Christmas Party Clubs are a perfect place for churches to start their involvement. It's only a one-day commitment and a wonderful way to share the real reason why we celebrate Christmas. We provide all of the training and resources. RSVP is important so we can have all the materials ready at each training.

Wordless Book Training

RSVP today to attend this two day event for free!

Medical and Parent Permission forms are required for students to attend. Please bring the completed forms with you. The medical form must be on a single piece of paper (printed back to back) and include a copy of the student's insurance card. Parent Permission Medical Permission 

On this weekend you can expect to –

• Grow spiritually
• Win prizes and eat free food (dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday are provided)
• Use your Bible
• Laugh, sing, and play games
• Learn how to share the Gospel to kids
• Earn a free weekend trip (Any student attending wordless book training for the first time is eligible to go to the statewide CYIA retreat on March 20-22 for free!)

CYIA Spring Retreat

Our spring retreat is a great opportunity to experience Christian Youth in Action, make new friends, or reunite with old CYIA friends. The weekend is full of fun and discipleship for all attending. To attend please:

1. complete registration by March 1st.
2. complete $100 payment by March 12th by Stripe, check, or cash.  Payment by Stripe should include a note with the student's name and "CYIA retreat" written in the "Special Notes" section on the first page/Emailed to cefsandhillsnc@gmail.com. 
3. Submit Parent Permission and Medical Permission forms. If they have already been completed for 2027, it is only necessary to register for the retreat and pay.

CYIA Training Camp

Training camp is when CYIA from all over the state gather together to encourage one another and learn to reach children with the gospel. There will be training on how to present Bible lessons, missionary stories, and so much more.
